New Jersey thrash metal legends Overkill bring their unique East Coast thrash sound to Lincoln, Nebraska on Thursday, 19th March 2026. With 20 studio albums and over 20 years of global thrash supremacy under their belt, this is one show that fans of the genre should not miss out on.
Singer Bobby 'Blitz' Ellsworth and founding bassist D.D. Verni take to the stage and the music assault will not let up as they play all of their biggest songs, such as "Hello from the Gutter" and cuts from their 2023 album "Scorched" that prove they are still very much up to the task of creating the heaviest of metal music. Support comes in the form of a blistering performance from Ezra and Molten. Molten of Omaha's new album "Malicide" is due for release in 2024.

Expect to hear tracks such as Elimination, Hello from the Gutter, Wrecking Crew and I Hate, to name a few. With decades of thrash metal under the belt of lead vocalist Bobby ‘Blitz’ Ellsworth and bassist D.D. Verni they are still carrying the torch and destroying with the best of them. The band was actually named after a Motörhead song, further linking them to the beginnings of heavy metal.
Local Nebraska metal has been making waves across the Midwest for about a decade now. They have done several radio shows on 89.3 KZUM, and have toured with the likes of D.R.I., Black Crown Inferno, and this year they came to the Saint Fest to open for Crowbar. The Omaha death metal quartet creates a brand of metal that fuses death metal heaviness with thrash metal speed.
Formed in 2016 in Omaha, Nebraska, their album Malicide was released in 2024 with the song “Malicide” along with “Scorched” and “Pathogenesis”. In 2024 they were supporting some bigger acts and also toured with Overkill in 2024. Their upcoming EP titled Oblivious is set to be released in 2025 with songs they’ve been playing out that are getting fans ready.
This venue is located at 1415 O St in downtown Lincoln, Nebraska. They have a 750 person general admission, standing room only main floor. They also have reserved tables for 2 or 4 with a table fee as well as balcony seating. They have a full bar featuring bourbon as well as other cocktails and very limited food options during events. Street parking is available on many of the downtown Lincoln streets surrounding the Bourbon theatre. There are several public parking lots within walking distance of the Bourbon Theatre.
